When it comes to pool maintenance, it should be done regularly. That means that pools should not be neglected and left to their own devices for weeks at a time.
What’s Included in the Service?
Our services includes these four steps when performing its regular monthly maintenance services:
- Additions or subtractions of chemicals as needed (chlorine, sanitizer, etc.)
- Removal of debris (leaves, bugs, dirt)
- Skimming/vacuuming the surface of the pool
- Visual inspection of equipment to ensure there are no leaks or other problems requiring attention.
If there are problems spotted during this part of the process, we will recommend repairs. We will also provide any replacement parts necessary if those repairs aren’t available on site. The company might also learn equipment is in need of repair, which it can perform for an additional fee.
Monthly Maintenance vs. Weekly Service
Most pools should receive at least monthly maintenance to keep them running properly and looking their best. However, some pools require more extensive care; the company’s weekly service options are designed with only those pools in mind.
Why Monthly Maintenance Is Necessary
Though spring has just sprung, now is actually a great time to start thinking about pool maintenance if your pool hasn’t already received this kind of treatment recently. If they were closed or not used all winter they need attention before opening them up again so you don’t risk any damage due to debris build-up.
The basic regularly scheduled maintenance performed by us can extend the life of a pool and help to prevent any costly repairs down the road, not to mention make your pool look its best at all times. Without proper care and attention, eventually, pools can develop cracks or other issues that require significant investment in order to get them running again.
Benefits of Monthly Maintenance for Pools
- Health of the pool
- Even water temperature
- Reduced chemical consumption due to balanced pH levels
- Less equipment wear and tear
Leaks can’t hide from a monthly inspection, and that is why we recommend scheduling one!
A lot of people don’t spend money on their pools because they just want them to look nice to their family and friends. They think that as long as there aren’t any glaring cracks or holes—and everything still looks pretty—it is okay. But, those things can grow over time with no quick fix available if you wait too long. So it is better not to put off necessary maintenance even though it can be an inconvenience. It’s much easier than having to deal with a major repair bill.
Every time you walk past your pool, give it a quick peek and ask yourself these questions:
- Has it been 30 days since maintenance?
- Is the filter clean and debris-free?
- Are all of the water levels in check?
If you answer no to any of them, then call us right away. You don’t even have to be a customer yet! Just let us set up an appointment for one of our professional technicians to come out and take care of everything you need.
