When winter comes, pools are expected to be perfectly clean and ready for swimming. It doesn’t matter if you don’t have a pool, it just matters that your friend does and they expect you to be at their house in a few weeks for a summer barbecue. You can always blame the weather, but what’s even better is if your pool is all taken care of.
Our Expert Winterization Service
The point of winterizing your pool is simple: to protect it from any damage caused by freezing weather conditions. Soon, the temperature will fall below 32 degrees Fahrenheit (0 Celsius). If your pool’s water isn’t emptied and stored properly, that’s when we get into some real problems. When the water freezes, it expands and causes cracking and pressure on pipes and liners.
It takes only a couple of days for the water to freeze. That’s not much time to get it out of your pool, which is why you need our help. We’ll suck all the water down, putting it through several filters along the way to make sure it’s clean and ready for storage or filtration once spring comes back around. If you’re looking forward to warmer weather this winter season but don’t want anything happening to your precious swimming hole, call us today!
Our Winterization Process
When winter is coming, we’ll be sure to come down and empty your pool of all the water. We have a couple of different methods for this. If we’re just looking to drain it for convenience and storage, we use the hose method. This doesn’t mean that your pool will be totally drained: we’ll leave a certain amount of water in there so as not to cause any damage.
If you want the full treatment, we also have our strong vacuum process. It’s perfect if you live in an area where pools are all emptied before winter hits - as long as your pool is on the smaller side!
There’s nothing worse than spending years building up a perfectly clean swimming hole only for it all to go wrong when winter comes around. That’s why our experienced technicians come out during this busy season to ensure that your pool is left in tip-top shape when winter ends and spring begins.
